"Kamera signed up by Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet to boost Web TV channel

In a deal designed to boost its online presence and add value to its content offering, leading Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet (SvD) has selected internet and mobile specialist Kamera to distribute ready-to-publish news and entertainment videos for its new Web TV Channel.

Kamera will source relevant news and entertainment video content from its prestigious portfolio of content suppliers, including Associated Press (AP) and Disney-ABC.

The content, breaking news stories from around the globe, will be available on SvD’s new Web TV Channel, launched in October 2007 on www.svd.se. SvD, owned by Schibsted. SvD is one of Scandinavia’s largest newspapers with almost 500,000 daily readers.

Kamera works with the Associated Press (AP), Disney-ABC International Television, Sportfive and other blue-chip content owners to package and distribute an extensive array of time-sensitive, online and mobile video news content which is translated into a host of languages, including Mandarin, French, Spanish, Swedish, Danish and Arabic, and carried by over 40 web sites and 35 mobile operators worldwide."
