“Kamera clinches mobile video content deal with O2 Germany
Mobile and Web TV provider Kamera has signed a deal with German mobile operator O2 for the distribution of its dedicated entertainment service WOW! TV. The deal marks Kamera’s first foray into the German market.
WOW! TV, which will be available in Germany from September 2006, is a daily mobile video service providing users with the world’s latest and hottest entertainment news. Distributed by 20 mobile networks worldwide, including Tele2, 3, Singtel and MTN, WOW!TV is Kamera’s most successful content service.

By opting for WOW! TV, users receive, two 45-90 second entertainment clips per day. Currently, the channel is watched in four different continents, in five different languages, (English, Swedish, Danish, German, and Arabic) and with an average monthly download of 100,000 clips per month.
Kamera’s long term pact with the world’s leading news agency Associated Press, combined with its own advanced technical expertise, enables the company to produce, package and distribute an extensive array of time- sensitive, localised online and mobile video news content.”
